(NEWS) Immigrants Role in Passaic County Economy, Workforce Growing, New Study shows

Immigrants are continuing to play a growing, and more critical role, in Passaic County’s labor force, business creation, and STEM innovation, according to new research by the New American Immigration Council (NAIC). According to New Americans in Passaic County, a report generated by the NAIC in partnership with Passaic County and William Paterson Business Development Center (SBDC), while Passaic County’s overall population decreased by .5%, between 2014 and 2019 the immigrant population grew by 10%.
